Anyone seen any good deals on CDPs?

There'll be a few - try Googling "hifi special offer" and see what comes up. Also, see the individual website for independent dealers - they sometimes get great deals that better even the web-only retailers. £200 - seek out used or ex-dem from dealers too, your money will go further and many offer a warranty thrown in. BADA Marketplace is worth cehcking too, but not a lot last time I looked at £200.

Or the Kenwood DP7090 which is a cracking player for the money (a couple of screens back from the Marantz) - £400 when new, £185 here so must be in near mint condition. That's a high price, so expect nearly new and no transport issues. Build is good and playback is fine indeed.

can pick up the Marantz CD6002 new for £209 which is well reviewed any owners?

Also found this during my search which is a bargain if anyone just wants a cd transport for their new dac

Not owned it, but heard it. It was a perfectly agreeable listen, especially considering the price. I think you would be hard pushed to better it at that price if you want to go the new, rather than second hand, route.

Dont think you could go too wrong with this one:
