I have been using Nordost Red Dawn Rev II to feed Sonus Faber Concertos from my Copland CSA 28 integrated amplifier for some years now. The Red dawn blew the cheaper Blue Heaven (and a wide variety of other options priced at similar levels to both BH and RD) away on direct home comparison when we were demoing different options. They seem to bring out the very best in the SFs which can sound a little too laid back with some material. Now the balance is simply exceptional and I can listen all night. I also use Red Dawn Rev II for most of my interconnects - try before you buy but in the right system you will not be disappointed.

mwinter, why resurrect so many old threads about cables? You don't by any chance cell Nordost cables, do you?

Well bearing in mind he only joined three days ago....he's probably just given his experience of the cable in question....albeit the original question was 2 years old and probably not relevant now.

"Probably not relevant" since he has resurrected several other threads as well.

No 'Grottyash', I have never been involved in celling (or even selling) Nordost (or, indeed, any other hi-fi products). I simply find that they work well with my current and previous systems. I confess that I did ot notice that the questin was two years old and was genuinely offering my own experience.

Sorry tha 'datay' has had such a miserable time without me. But, I forgot my password and the What Hi-Fi? site does notseem to want to isseu reminders. Finally managed to find time to resurrect it through a process of elimination.
