Anyone for PQLS??

Has anybody demo'd or bought a Pioneer bluray player to go with there Pioneer amp that has PQLS on it? Does it make a difference with it on or off?? Or should i buy a Sony or a PS3 Slim??

Some cracking deals on the lx52 and the promise of the new 54 by christmas. Would be interesting to hear someones opinion with it switched on and off.......

I do have the pioneer vsx2020 and a bdp320, still running reciever in and checking settings after a week, but at the moment i would say its not very audibly different enabled

Are you seriously looking for a Blu ray player? I have the ubiquitous Sony BDPS370 but may start looking for something more robust as the Sony is made to an absolute budget! The top of it flexes like you wouldn't believe!! Will maybe wait and see what the new '54 is like by which time the '53 will be a bargain.

54 looks good if you are after 3d. I have been told that the 53 is not as good as the 52 in terms of build quality- like gold plated plugs etc Having a look at a 52 that has appeared.....

WHF team did a one-make home cinema group test back in February - AVR and BD Player - which included Pioneer, Denon & Sony. Being they tested the Pioneer AVR/BDP pairing, maybe they should be able to provide an opinion?
