Any Squeezebox/Squeezecenter experts out there?

Now it may be because I'm being a right plank, but.....

Ever since I imported all my WMA Lossless files into iTunes (@ 256 kbps), I now get both versions of each album showing up in Squeezecenter and on my Squeezebox Duet controller. I've tried changing the 'Use iTunes' option in the Settings but this makes no difference.

Can anyone help?

have a look on the PC as I bet you now have two of every music file after the iTunes import.

Hi nads,

I have two directories now. The first one has all my Lossless files, the second one has the iTunes 256 kbps files.

In the Squeezecenter settings, I have the Music Folder pointing towards the Lossless directory. Shouldn't Squeezecenter just be selecting music from this directory?

Have you tried doing a complete reload of your music in Squeezecentre rather than just looking for new and changed files?

Not sure but have a feeling that running the new and changed scan will not remove links to previously scanned files. So if you had previously scanned the non-lossless directory it would still remember these files as well as the lossless versions that you are now trying to pick up.

Thanks James, that seems to have solved it.

The strange thing is that since doing the reload I've imported a few more songs into iTunes, but this time they haven't duplicated themselves in Squeezecenter!
