John lewis have a good deal on the 40" version with 3D pack( 2xglasses, bdp470, transmitter and 2 blurays ) for £1169.

I was choosing between, 40"hx803 sony, 40" UE8000 samsung and 42" GT20 panasonic. The pansonic had the best 3D picture as choosen by my wife

by quite a margin - some of this could be down to set up? I would have placed the sony ahead of the samsung but I did not get a chance to view the screens from the same source of 3D so that will have influenced the end result. They were all paired with their specific brands. I would be interested in seeing how good the sony player and the panasonic perform. I bought the panasonic as I preferred the picture quality in all formats 3D, HD and SD. It also inlcuded both Freeview and Freesat HD tuner built in.
