i thought the glasses were only useful for tint settings and a lot of tv don't have this function

i did buy some off ebay and my tv didn't alhough i think my projector now does well any freebie is a good freebie!

Most modern screens (and some players) tend to have tint settings.

Or at least, that has been the case for the screens I have seen. My fairly 'old' and 'budget' plasma certainly does.
