anti static guns ??

i was going for a clamp but i know 3 people with a turntable and noone has one so im now looking at a anti static gun which is £45 pound no batterys or refills anyone used or know anything about these.

had one in the seventies a zerostat one(the only one) in tose days if i remember correctly, was not much good as i remember, bought anti-stactic inner sleeves after that,they were more useful
