Another player in the next level of DAC....

I've been saving up/trying to justify adding a Moon DAC to my Moon amp. The problem being the £1290 price for the excellently reviewed Moon 300D. And tonight I spot a lesser Moon. The 100D is available on pre-order for £499. It has the same DAC as the 300 but no balanced connectivity, none of the 300D's internal 24-bit/352.8kHz processing and it has a PSU rather than an AC input.

Burr Brown PCM1793. I agree, I will hold out for the 300D. Just don't tell the missus!
