Amstrad HD box with new epg - HELP!

I got the new epg (seems OK) but what the heck is wrong with lip sync? If I watch SD or HD programs - no problem but if I watch recorded programs, SD are OK but HD lip sync is horrendous. The adjustment of up to 200ms is no use, I need whole seconds. It is so bad that I can't even tell which way to go and I don't fully understand the range. I presume you start at 0 seconds delay of the sound and then progress to 200ms delay - OK but then it loops???

I don't want to delay the sound - that makes it worse (I think) - I want to delay the images or go to minus values with the sound. What can I do because it is just unwatchable?

If that doesn't work try a planner rebuild.

To do a planner rebuild......

press the services button on the remote,then 0-0-1 in quick succession (gets you into installers menu),then press 7 and then select.

I've just noticed that when I go into the sound menu on the EPG the volume control is missing. Is this a fault or has this been removed across the board?

If its a fault would a planner rebuild work? I'm assuming that a planner rebuild will erase everything in the planner and you have to start from scratch again.

No, a planner rebuild doesn't erase your recordings,if thats what you mean.

Thats good to know that a planner rebuild wont erase the recordings if I ever have to do that.
