Amplifier for Wharfedale 10.1

Hi,

I just bough the Wharfedale 10.1. What should be a good match fo the amplifier. It will be use for home cinema and music.

When you say "home cinema" do you mean surround sound? or to use a dvd player through a standard 2 channel set-up? what sort of budget do you have?

I like warm sound not necesarely sound effect and helicopter vibration in the middle of the living room. Budget is 350 ? maxG

Arcam will fit the bill perfectly. My A65 is superb with films and tv in a standard 2-channel format. A second hand A65 can be picked up on ebay for around £150 - £180. Alternatively, Nad 352 is a wonderful option, and both these will be a good match for Wharfedales.

Or you could go with a brand new Marantz 6003 (£300), WHFI recommend this combo, but it really depends what source you have or intend on buying?

+1 for this, I have this amp with the Diamond 9.1 speakers for films and music and I love it.

How about Cambridge Audio 550A? I think the Wharfedale's are warm enough to take some liveliness.
