Recently bought a rega elicit r which was working great until fuse started blowing so going back but to get a decent volume i like the rega had to go to at least half volume with my kef q550 speakers. Just put my old technics suv45a which is 45 watts per channel and it only goes to 2 on the volume knob and sounds as load as the rega. Is that right or you think the rega has another fault

Wherever the volume control is turned up to has little reference as to the power being delivered especially between different manufacturers
The fuse blowing fault may, however, be related
Don't you have another thread going regarding the Rega?
