returning my oppo ha-2se after a fault and seeking a different amp/dac. A bass boost is essential, and mqa 24/192 decoding would be a bonus. any suggestions?

MQA for under £350? Dragonfly Red/Black or Meridian Explorer 2. Can't think of anything else at that price point. If you're doing MQA any DSP will be disabled, so no bass boost.

i could use my oppo ha-2se bass boost during mqa playback maybe it's integrated differently.

Interesting, I wasn't aware of that.

That's the way most of the better DAC/amps are working afaik, allowing the player to change the bits for EQ before sending the bits to the DAC.

going to order the nano idsd black label micro for £200, more power than the ha-2se and does 24/192 mqa, not to mention it's cheaper at £199, and has great reviews
