amp and speakers

thinking of getting a roksan k2 amp ,has anyone got any suggestions on speakers about the £600 mark ,stand mount or floor

room size approx 12ft x 14ft .all tastes of music

also just noticed that the Cyrus 8VS2 Amplifier is reduced to approx £599 is this a match for the roksan any suggestions greatly received

Both superb amps and will suit a number of speakers.

What would be handy to know is what would be your source and what kind of music do you listen to?

For both those amps the Monitor Audio RS6 floorstanding speakers would be superb as long as you have a warm/smooth CDP (Arcam CD192/CD72/CD73/Rega Apollo etc...)

You could also take a look at the B&W 685 standmount speakers partnered with Partington Super Dreadnought stands.

There's a world of options out there. The 1st 2 questions need to be answered and more folks will come back with more opinions then

the main source at the moment is an ipod,other sources include rega planar 2 and an old technics cd player which will be replaced later

music wise anything except classic
