AMOLED TVs - when, if ever?

Anyway... arguments aside, progress has been made - it's just slow. I seem to remember Sony had a 9" or 10" (maybe 11") screen for around $10,000 dollars a couple of years back, now you have LG (who seem to have picked up the baton) about to launch a 15" one for about £1750... I think at last year's CES I saw Sony screens up to about 20" (that was Feb 2009). It's getting there - Plasma was extremely expensive when it came out, LCD used to suck, OLED will catch up as more time is invested and more commercial uses are found, the process will be refined, improved and cheapened.
