Spotted this at the weekend only now in operation bought Quantum of Solace and Valkyrie for £17.98 seems a great price, many other titles including Taken, but for me this seemed the best deal.

I tried to visit via the link on the homepage and it doesnt work. You should have someone take a look at it if you're paid per click or on an affiliate scheme or anything like that.

Others should visit by the same means as well if it benefits our favourite mag ;-)

I just ordered Slumdog Millionaire and Australia for £17.99. Bargain, though I hear the latter is not great? Would Quantum of Solace have been a better choice?

Australia - I thought it was an okay film up to the 2 hour point. The last hour made it way too long (for this kind of film) and it seemed a bit unnecessary to me - they could have easily written a different ending and got the same point across within 2 hours.

Still, great visuals and looks lovely on Blu-Ray.

It's something set up by our ad team. I know there were some issues yesterday, messing up our headers - that's now sorted (after we got all narky...); i'll get them to check it's working with all browsers etc now.

Hugh Jackman doesn't hold quite as much appeal to me, but at least it's not an awful film. I suspect, given that no one has screamed Quantum of Solace at me, that that is not great.

Quantum of Solace is far from being the best Bond film, and if you haven't seen Casino Royale (preferably recently, too) then it doesn't make much sense. Still a good watch, though - and an excellent Blu-ray technically.

Maybe more one to rent or borrow from a mate, if you're not a massive Bond fan.

Quite enjoyed Australia, very good PQ. Thought slumdog millionaire was absolute rubbish IMO cannot see what all the fuss was about, gave up after 35 minutes.

So the two for me would have been Quantum and Australia.

Edit. Agree totally with what Claire says about Quantum of Solace, essential that you watch Casino Royale first (perhaps a week apart).

Thank you for the comments.

I have seen Casino Royale, so I'll rent Quantum. I've already seen Slumdog and really liked that, so not concerned with that.

Despite the poor choice (a little over a page on amazon) the offer is great. It beats a recent high st offering of 2x1 in which each film jumped from £12-17 to £30, no doubt to compensate for the offer.

Play.com have launched a buy one get one free offer as well, maybe in response to the amazon offer.

Their "wide variety" amounts to 40 films, and they all cost £19.99. I think most of the films cost less prior to this offer (ie Die Hard 4 was about £12-13), though not enough to compensate for it.

I personally would choose Quantum of Solace over Australia, but then it's really down to your own tastes!

I agree thats why i choose Quantum of Solace and Valkyrie as i don't own them already on dvd and it will be nice yo get all the James Bond movies on blu-ray. Also Valkyrie got good reviews as a film not sure how good these are on blu-ray, but at those prices worth a gamble. It all comes down to personal choice and i suspect that some will be better than others but don't just buy them for quality buy them because you like the films.
