Alexa works with LG TVS ???

I have noticed recently after a few annoying updates from LG on my TV that Alexa is useless doesn't work ,won't let me delete it .. any 1 else experienced this just curious. The LG voice control is useless thats a understatement and always has been.
So now ive turned of voice control on the tv full stop.Silly adverts on the screen.
The screen saver is a screen killer !

I have Alexa on my LG C4. I'm really no fan of speaking into a device when you can do it with a remote.
On occasions if I accidentally trip the remote, it will come on. I just hit the undo button. Ah peace!

Its working now odd ! its useful if im cooking or the phone rings to just say mute volume rather than looking for the remote im getting lazy 🙈

After the latest update i can no longer access any app on the Home Screen i know there are a few people on here with the same LG C3 .
it seems to be a a user agreement issue with LG any 1 else have issues ?

Have you in the interim contract LG about this issue?
It could be a bug in the firmware they're possibly aware off.
They may have beta solution to fix this.
Worth speaking to them first.

Or, the other option is to download the older version of the firmware that worked.

FYI Turn on the tv this morning user agreements appeared odd!
After about 30mins the apps appeared .Now all working .
one bonus feature is it now has a screen timer that you can set to a preferred time this will reduce screen damage about time LG .
The odd thing about all this the update was over a week ago.

My 2022 LG 55” telly has got software version 03.51.15. It recently updated and now that pesky Web OS splash screen appears every time we turn it on, instead of just on the first restart.

Can anyone recall the setting for starting up on the last terrestrial channel, as it did before?

I answered my own query. I needed to deselect AI suggested genre. Solved!

Thanks, now I'm mindful of the AI quirks when my LG C4 updates itself and the solution!

yes pretty useless its been playing up for weeks now not happy .
Your question regarding last source on my tv go to general setting>system>additional> home setting >power on screen then choose recent input .not sure yours is the same worth a look .
