Here are my top ten of the decade (not in order), these are albums which have never been far from my cdp. They're not necessarily groundbreaking (there are exceptions) or commercially successful but have simply blown me away when I heard them and I've enjoyed many repeat listenings.

..........and an honourable mention for Nick Cave, who with Nocturama, Orpheus and Lazarus produced some of his best ever music, yet somehow hasn't made my Top 10.
