Hi Peeps,

I get the whole AE idea and think it's a great way to stream music to an AV system in your lounge, especially with the use of an Ipod Touch as an remote control.

I have a couple of questions about it.

1, can you use it to stream Radio programs like Radio Paradise?

2, Is there a way of streaming BBC IPlayer or Youtube from the Touch to you AV system using the AE?

Regards

ah you can drop radio stations as playlists? I never new that...

In terms of BBC Iplayer.. I was refering to the radio stations on there and the past recorded stations of that week. same for you tube... just streaming the audio across only!

ah ok! thanks for that...

I guess the Ipod Touch can sync with the radio stations then? or will they have to be started on the "main Pc" and then just streamed from that?

OK, after a bit of fiddling with a couple of radio stations that wouldn't play anyway, AE or not, I got one going. You need to add it to a playlist - the radio stations aren't available to browse. Furthermore, have just specifically added the Radioparadise link to a 'Radio' playlist I created and it works fine.

Note the advice above re: Airfoil for stations like BBC (and for youtube audio), until they sort out an iTunes-friendly stream......

Nice work John!

So i go to RP site, save the link, go to Itunes add file, choose the saved RP link. Then create a "Radio" Palylist and add files from the music library.

So if I turn on my Main PC, Start Itunes.... then go down stairs and start My Remote Itunes application Go to my newly Created "radio" Playlist I should be able to start the playback from there?
