advice- upgrade

Andrew advised me earlier on an upgrade option of Marantz CD 6002 & PM 6002 for my VERY basic current system (Marantz SR-47 amp + Marantz CD-38).. Having recently bought Sennheiser HD 650 headphones I am now thinking of what CD player and amplifier would do justice to these headphones. I listen to classical music and I love high fidelity sound . Once , 30 yrs ago, my mother had a very high quality expensive record player Hi Fi system which spoiled me forever. I don't know how much I am willing to pay but I would like to know which systems would render the quality that my new headphones can give. Would appreciate your advice (including Andrew's again).

I would go with the Rotel RA-04 if you listen a lot to classical music. I heard the PM6002 recently and it's a good amplifier but IMO can't beat the Rotel.
