Hello there, I'm buying my girlfriend a new system to play her music on, the Denon D-M38DAB seems the obvious choice as she can listen to her CDs, her chart show on the radio and also iPod.
Following whathifi's advice I am buying this without speakers and would like your recommendations on the best ones for a small-ish bedroom where they will be placed on a desk relatively close to the wall, and she listens to mainly pop music with some rock, hip hop and soundtracks too. In your review whathifi you mentioned the Q-Acoustics 2010 which look like nice little speakers which would compliment her room with the black gloss finish.
There is a website I found offering a package deal on the D-M38DAB, one with the Q-Acoustic 2010s and 5 metres of wire for £320 with the gloss finish (also £353 for the 2020's), but for £350 they offer the same 5 metre wire but with a pair of Monitor Audio BR2s so I'm abit stuck on choice here.
