Hi my ae109's should be arriving in a few days, does anyone know where i can get a copy of the Acoustic Energy ae109 owners manual? Also, can anyone help me with the correct speaker connections please. My amp can run two sets of speakers and by what i gather can be used to bi-wire speakers. Which speaker output (A or B) do the HF and LF terminals connect to, and if my amp cannot bi-wire them, which would be the best way to connect them up. Sorry if this is a novice question, but my previous bi-wire speakers, Tannoy Profile 636's speaker connections where set out differen't so just need some guidence please. Thanks.

You dont need a manual

Dont bother bi-wiring them; they're at their best either single wired or bi-amped (i.e. your amp and a power amp)

Just connect the speaker cable from your amp (output A) to the LF connections on the speakers. They should have jumper bars (brass connectors that connect the HF to the LF connections; if not either use a short length of your cable to replace these or buy specific ones off eBay and the likes (i.e. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-CHORD-CARNIVAL-SILVERSCREEN-SPEAKER-JUMPER-CABLES-/320728706963?pt=UK_Computing_CablesConnectors_RL&hash=item4aacebaf93 )

Just remember that if you get these and you have the jumper bars; DO NOT use them together, remove the bars!

Thanks hifilover1979 what i need to do now seems alot more clearer. I take it that if the jumpers are missing i just connect a piece of speaker wire from HF negative to LF negative and another piece from HF positive to LF positive. I might Bi-Amp them at a later date, the price of the Arcam Alpha pre/power amps are still abit expensive second hand at the moment so might wait for the price to come down first.
