ooops, pressed the wrong button.

ok, here is my question. i have a 2 set of focal speakerschorus series(826 and 706) and 800 centre plus 2x700 series subwoofers.i just purchase a stewart filmscreen 130 inch 2.35 format, which is accoustically transparent and therefore accommodate the speakers.

1) i would love to put the floorstanders behind the screen and centre, but at 1050mm high m not sure how to do that and how low to put the screen.i was told to keep the tweeters at ear level and that is around the height of the 826. So if i do so, it means my screen will be touching the floor as to fully conceal the speakers.i don t thinks is adequate is it? how low can i put the screen? i will be sitting at exactly 4700mm from the screen.should i raise the 826 speakers as much as my seating position?

2)if the 826 are too high to be placed behing the screen, i will then revert to putting the 706 behhind the screen and that will save me raising the seating position.but can i place the chorus 700 subwoofers behind the screen or subs are better left in full view on the floor? will it make my screen move and rattle with loud expolsions?

sincerely yours

My answers remains transparent! Hi. I recon a pic of yr room would help others to give suggestions and help me cuz I'm just nosey. I think yr post invites comments on aethetic grounds rather than acoustics so invite me for lunch, I'll bring a weekend bag and I will give you my invaluable suggestions. Or at least I can help you finish those bottles of old wine. Sounds like an interesting project so good luck with or without my highly regarded expertise.

Cheers
