abt Tannoy 5.1 system

Hallo,

I have decided to go for complite system instead of buying seperate
speakers.

But again one query-

In whatshifi Best buy section they have always recommended Tannoy
Mercury F1 5.1 system with picture.As name suggest they should
contain 4 mercury F1 BS speakers.
But another review in July issue pg.63 says that F1 system contains
4 F1 custom not F1 speakers.I dont have earlier issue with system
review,also no review online.

I am confused.

Pls. tell me which is this 5.1 system recommended by Whathifi and also
won the award?

It was the Tannoy Mercury F1 Custom package which won the award last year in the £750 - £1500 bracket. At the moment, it looks like the Best Buy has changed I think to the Tannoy Mercury F4 Custom which has the F4's as fronts, but it looks like the wrong picture and title are up (either that or the F1 Custom is still the best buy and the wrong review is up). Needs someone from WHF to confirm. The F4 Custom package is also available from Superfi here.
NB - I'm not recommending Superfi as the place to buy these, it's just their website is easy to find a decent picture and a relevant current price for them - you may well find them cheaper elsewhere.

Check out frank Harvey they have all the models and seem the cheapest or maybe Creative audio.
