This tip came directly from a VP at Dynaudio. He recommended that occassionally the screws in the face of speakers should be tightened. They can loosen during shipping and more after hundreds of hours of play time. I have owned my Contours for 9 months now and I was able to turn most of the screws about a quarter turn. My speakers have hex head screws. I can't tell you that I immediately was wowed by the sound quality improvement, but I'm pretty confident that tightening the screws will in fact make for better sound. Vibration is your enemy. It's a good tip. Just don't over tighten and be extra careful with that pointy screwdriver.

Just tightened up mine, about a quarter turn as well. Not sure I if I can tell any difference in sound though. Possibly, slightly more punchy.
