a few easy questions for u guys

hdmi 4 game/tv if i connect my xbox360 via hdmi will that give my in game dolby digital

if i connect my sky HD hdmi to the tv and the optical audio out to the amp in game/tv can i assign that so when i press cbl/sat on the remote the audio will come from the sky hd box and am i right that will give me 5.1 dd from my sky hd box?

vcr/dvr i was going to connect my ps3 via hdmi is that ok as i will watch blu rays mainly will d/truehd ect get to the amp through hdmi

and i am going to connect my wii via connponet in dvd and a pair of white/red phono's in dvd

cd player a pair of red/white phono's in the cd and let the cd player dac do its job is that ok being a cambridge audio 640 h or should i take a digital cable and let the onkyo do the work?

and then just get a 3m hdmi to the tv in hmdi 1 and the hdmi2 on the tv will have the sky hd

Answer to questions.

1. Yes

2. Yes and only some programmes are transmitted in 5.1

3. Yes but you have to set the PS3 to decode onboard and output as LPCM as presently cant bitstream. Amp will show multichannel in.

4.Yes Wii componant into amp

5. Up to you, try them both
