Saw 4k for the first time today in the John Lewis store in Edinburgh ,ok it's a bit sharper they were feeding the tv 4k content on a loop but after earth and total recall weren't much better than what I already have ,the colours did pop but is it because the tv was in store mode i dont know,I know you don't get the benifets of 4k until you get to the 80inch point but how many people can accommodate an 80inch tv let alone afford one.now I've seen what all the fuss is about I'm happy to stick with my ZT until something worth upgrading to comes along.

looks like oled is done before it even started ,its far to expensive to produce and plasma oled is still in the prototype stage ,so 4k looks to be the dominant force in the tv wars ,a few Japanese firms are even skipping 4k altogether and going straight to 8k for the 2020 Olympic Games .

was expecting to be blown away but I left a little disappointed .
