Well, it's now virtually impossible to buy a mid-to-high end TV that isn't 3D-ready, so we'll all end up owning one eventually, whether we're interested in the feature or not.

By the end of the year, TV manufacturers should be able to post improving sales figures for 3D-ready TVs, though many will buy these models principally for their 2D performance, the upcoming Panasonic VT30 being a case in point. Of course that's assuming people are in the market for a new TV, which they may not be, given the gloomy economic forecast...

we bought our samsung 40''lcd 4 years ago, cost about £1200.....was rated by whathifi magazine as a 5*........good reviews all round, then, what seemed like just a few months later, samsung released a new improved model!!

this is what holds me back in even considering a new tv,iv'e been stung once...and it hurt lol.

i'm going to buy a seperates system very soon, which i hope,is future proof(as in wont be a poor second to newer models)must admit tho, wish i had realized it was possible to get advice from you guys 4years ago,but you live 'n' learn...:)

As for 4d....well....the late night type of adult films should be fun....cant wait for the reviews...and i'm sure the reviewers are looking forward to it too!!!!lol
