3D TV - just seen it without glasses

Having just bought a VT20 imagine my surprise and my work colleagues amusement to find a demo at Hull university of 3D without glasses on a Philips set AND limited though the demo was you could stand off axis at various points. What it proved to me was that 3D without glasses probably WILL indeed happen

That demo (and an LG one) have been kicking around for some time. Every time I saw them at a show they'd make me feel sick within seconds

But yes, it's possible - just far from marketable at this point.

Well i think all 3D is flawed , the amount of reports of complaining about head aches withing the first few minutes of using active shutter tech is on the up and thats just from the demo's ( checkout other forums )

I personally think this is all just a stepping stones in tech just like the laser disc
