Hello 🙂
I got a few question's about assembling a 3.1 audio system for my small appartment 🙂
The living room it's self is around 20 square metres, however the theater room is about 10 square metres, so 5X4.
for the 3.1 system i have kinda a budget, wich is around 3500 Euro.
I need a receiver, tough, will be either a Denon/Marantz or PIoneer, but not sure how to spend the rest of the budget, will i go for 2 small fronttowers, with a center, and will i buy the subwoofer later.
Or would i go with some bookshelfspeakers on a stand, add the subwoofer their, and buy the center later on.
I will post later on a photo of the room, tough, the speakers will sit pretty close to the wall.
In terms of speakers i have on my list to listen are:
-Kef Q900, but i think those will look to big in my room?
-B&w Cm8 SII, only thing i would think they could be bad in the room because of the rear ports, the speakers can be moved a lil bit from the wall, but well, maybe max 2 foot away.
Other speakers i also would love to hear are the Kef R300 and maybe the b&w cm5.
What i hope to accomplish wiht the setup?
It will be used for about 80 percent watching movie's and listening to 20 percent for music.
Music i listen is Rap, hiphop, the 80's,90's and some classic music .
I hope to get an audition some where during the big holliday in july, than i got some more spair time .
Thank you all for the future advice
Kind Regards
Boogie
p.S: before i forgot, around my area, i can listen to b&w, monitor audio,Dali, kef and i spotted also a Klipsch dealer nearby.
