hi everyone my tv went away for a new panel after only 4 months and when it came back the new panel was faulty as well so it went back again they have had my tv now since the 28th of october a friend of mine has told me if it takes any longer than 21 working days to sort out then i am entitled to a replacement set or my money back can anyone confirm if this is true or not please? many thanks

Letter to retailer rejecting goods as unfit for purpose under sale of goods act.Replacement or money back,but get it in now before you've had the set 6 months.Sorry I cannot post in length -Gotta go.Someone else will pick on this as well.

Two failed panels, a poor showing! Which TV do you have, care to name and shame?

As for the '21 DAY RULE' it doesn't exist, but in this kind of situation the retailer has an obligation to turn round any repair in a 'reasonable time'.

You should write to the retailer stating that if this repair does not fix the problem, you expect a full refund as the TV is not 'fit for purpose'.
