Dear all,

Both products share 5-star What Hi-fi reviews, and I can get both at the same price but without previous auditions. Does anyone have first hand experience with both? Will be using it with a Rega turntable I am purchasing for use with MM only so don't care about MC in the Cambridge.

Rega's review is more enthusiastic I think, but there seems to be a concensus around the 640p while the Rega has fewer opinions because it is more recent, if I'm not mistaken.

Your input is welcome, thank you.

I had the Rega Fono-Mini before it had the USB (A2D) added. I used it with a Rega P2 + Ortofon 2M Blue into a Naim Nait 5i.

Superb bit of kit. (Especially as it was £55 before they added the A2D/USB facility.)

I can't comment on the CA offering except that it's big.

The CA is certainly fantastic but, given the positive reception, I'd be very tempted by the USB facility to record some of my vinyl.

Forgot to mention the USB part is useless to me (but for sure may be a plus for many people).

In my particular case, only MM sound performance matters, nothing else :)
