British audio should be proud of its history, it's industry and it's heritage. Today I still support it. Sadly though in my experience certain makes of British built cd playes, (and I have owned many) while having great design principles have proven to be generally unreliable. I, to a certain degree reluctantly moved over to ownening Japanese CD players, but quite honestly have since never looked back.
