Viewing angles - if you sit in front of the tv set ( its the normal usual position ) you will not have any problem watching tv ..however in some sets like lcds if you have someone sitting in a diferent angle ( exemple - more close to the side of the set ) tv view will be afected - this is commun in lcds, plasma have better viewing angles ... but i think this will not be the ultimate factor for buying decision as its not commun to have your guests sitting next to the tv (on it side) and watching it....

If you are looking for a set something like 40" or bigger i would have no doubt about recomend you a plasma :

Better viewing angles

Better smoth movment ( Response Time ms ) a lot quicker ...

Constrast Ratio and Black Levels

Better Image Quality
