    Hi - I'm looking on Ebay for a turntable. I have a Vintage Marantz 30 watt amp and some new Mordaunt Short M10 speakers. What exactly is it that I'm looking for in a turnable? Belt drive....direct drive etc?....I've heard that cheap ones damage your vinyl....don't want that obviously! Thanks.

    Hi - I'm watching a pair of Sony 70's speakers on Ebay and the photos show the two speaker parts inside the speakers listed as: 8 ohm NOM. 2w, and 8 ohm 5w 2w and 5w in each speaker - so they have a total of 7 watts per speaker? That doesn't seem to be much power? I have a 2 x 30 (8 ohm)...
