Anthem MRX 710 - Anybody heard it yet?

You can airplay to your Apple TV presuming you connect it to your av amp and get a lot more besides. The Anthem Pioneer and Yamaha all present the sound in veyr different ways. There is more to it than just the facilities.

    Epson Cinema projector

Hi Graham, I never achieved reliable results with the wireless version so we stopped recommending it unless there really was no way we could run the cables. The Epson warranty is superb and includes swap outs on the bulb so I would suggest purchasing from an authorised dealer.

    Epson Cinema projector

Lots of questions there. The models you mention have both been replaced - the 7200 and the 9200 - but only the 9200 has the wireless version. The 9200 is indeed very good, nice and bright with superb 3D. The closest competitor is the Sony VPL-HW55 ( no wireless). There does not appear to be a...

Home Cinema advice and choice of KEF Reference vs KEF R series

I was typing so didnt see your last reply. If you want that kind of bass then another subwoofer will really help with that - as will a higher performing model. I doubt you will need the Procella speakers in your room as they really excel in large spaces where a lot of volume is required. It is...

Home Cinema advice and choice of KEF Reference vs KEF R series

If you are building a room that is dedicated to Home Cinema I would suggest you dont need the KEFs or any floor standing speaker. If you do wish to opt for the Reference I would knock back the 205's to 203's, not buy the gloss finish and invest in an additional subwoofer. My main advice given...

    Primare SPA22 HD

I never had any issue matching the Primare to PMC and the Twenty series is very good indeed. Can you demo? How big is your room - do you have a centre?

    What would you choose?

The 5400 was a solid amp and if you are looking to improve on the sound you have with the 1200 rather than compltely change it I would go for it.

    9.1 Auro-3D Blu-Ray

You wont be able to benefit from the Auro 3D part of the disc as this is distinct information that needs to be decoded. AS I understand it you will need the decoding in the amp - just like DTS et al. We should see a few top end processors with Auro early next year.

What cables for a Primare BD32?

That will be me confusing the receiver and the processor - Doh! I would still use the analogue output - just RCA this time. CD playback is superior in the BD32 for sure rather than sending a signal via coax or HDMI. It is slight rather than night and day difference but to my ears the better...

What cables for a Primare BD32?

When I set up this combination we use the 2ch XLR out from the BD32 for CD and HDMI for the rest. For clients looking for mulitchannel audio we then also connect up the analogue outs. The sound from the BD32 is superior on 2ch but for movies I would send the signal on. As mentioned above I would...

    Linn Klimax Exakt

A bit like the Meridian dsp speakers then. I think a set of DSP8000 may start to look like good value.

What are the best speakers for Electronic Music (Trance, IDM, Ambient, Progressive, Dubstep, Post-Rock) under $15K?

As already mentioned a pair of the large PMC speakers will do the job. When we had the MB2se's we gave them a proper work with lots of heavy dubstep and techno to fantastic results.

who is the king of home theatre speaker packages?

5x5 is a good sized room and you can achieve good results with that space. The YSP2200 is good but it will not compare to a complete surround sound system and if you are looking at investing £4k there will be no contest. There are loads of options and doubtless suggestions but the best thing to...

    Dali Mikro UK Release Date

RRP is £1299. You should get a good value for your KEF sub if it is in good condition with a box.

    Dali Mikro UK Release Date

That is a tight space. You could look at the Paradigm Millenia subwoofer - this is slimmer than your current sub and has drive units on each end so will work in your space. It is designed to go in a small space, on a wall, under a sofa etc. The Paradigm subwoofers also have very powerful room eq...
