I posted a thread earlier about upgrading my Paradigm 6000f speakers to the Founder 100f. The salesperson suggested that I also upgrade my Yamaha as 801 to an Anthem str that he has in stock. Are there any other amps that anyone would recommend for this application? Thanks.

I listen to digital audio mostly with my laptop connected to the as 801 via its usb port. I also have a Yamaha cd-s300 and a Project Debut Carbon with Ortofon bronze cartridge upgrade. The room is 12' deep and 24' wide with an 8.5' ceiling.

I am considering upgrading my 2008 42" Panasonic 720p plasma to a 55" or 65" oled. I am sitting 8.5' from the screen. The 65" seems a bit much when I view it in my local store, but maybe it will feel more natural at home when I get used to it. Is the 55" a more logical step up?
