I have purchased pre owned sugden a21 from a dealer but theirs is a bit of a crackle on one channel, the other channel just has a bit of normal transformer hum. the crackle is just about audible from my listening position 2 meters away. I may need to return the unit.

Nad 326BEE is a good option used quite a revealing amp with plenty of oomph

I have prime, but as with all streaming services you get to the point you have watched everything. you want to watch. then I stop using it for a bit than the cycle repeats, but I still keep my account active to keep the free deliver from amazon.

I know one version has a phono stage, I just have a small room with small speakers and was just wondering the sugden a21 would be more suitable with 23 watts class A , might have a bit more tone but I don't want to lose the rhythmic sound of my current set up.

thanks for your reply I also have a record deck , Caspian has no phone stage but me vinyl deck has one built in so I am still able to play my records, but probably not at is best

I was wondering what improvement a sugden a21 will have over my Roksan Caspian m2 with my eb acoustics speakers eb1, I have never had a class A amp. I have have the roksan Caspian m2 for around 10 years now which I have been very happy with, but a upgrade do cross my mind.

I remember a old Sony midi system, paid about £50 used , being more satisfying than a decent separates system about a grands worth. not because the Sony was a bass machine. it just sounded more mellow and pure

love my Bose sound sport wireless, true wireless I find they sound better than there wired pair. but maybe not the best choice for gym use or where theres a lot of back ground noise.

did not hear the mojo . no regrets with the 2 qute my system sounds more alive without sounding to bright.

thanks for your input i now have a chord 2 qute in my system with a option to return, it has made a big improvment, sounding alot clearer and more open.

would upgradeing my dac from the rega dac to chord 2 qute dac be a worthwhile improvement to my system, my system is , rega dac , roksan m2 , eb acoustic eb1s. im looking for more transparent detailed sound without loseing that full bodied sound of the rega , just seeking advise , as it a lot...

no i use roskan m2 amp and eb acoustics eb1 and rega dac (and spoty fi is my only source at the monent)

ive have an old sony midi hifi from late 80s early 90s cost me 40quid used 20 years ago, it sounds amazing for a midi systems. Modern midi systems may sound more powerful but not all have same clarity of this old system.
