I had an hour late last night and first impressions were … detail and sound stage, both not usually traits of Naim stuff at the affordable end in my (limited) experience of the brand. It almost made my speakers sound electrostatic.

It should be ok with my main speakers. I don’t headbang too often. However, hearing that Naim deliberately engineered a bass lift into the phono stage might be an issue! I have a real problem room, square and relatively small. I can EQ my streaming and CD but not vinyl!

Totally agree. Whilst I don’t think Naim was just out to make profit they clearly aimed this at well off existing owners. They did bite but not nearly in the numbers Naim (or the press) probably estimated. 1973 units with worldwide distribution and still unsold units left at dealers … speaks for...
I got one for quite a bit less than that, 5 months old with remaining manufacturer warranty. I don't think Naim quite envisaged this at launch but my guess is that when they are all gone/sold prices will stabilise.
