Have you tried doing a factory reset with the aerial unplugged? this clears the memory totally. then do it again with it connected to find all the stations. You can check the signal strength for each channel!

From what I understand the iplayer on freeat won't need an eithernet connection it will OTA. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Dont know if you have a Panasonic Freesat TV but if you have then the Viera link will work with the RXV765. The Scene buttons can be set up as well so when you switch to TV on the AV amp then it will switch the TV to Freesat. So to change from DVD to TV you just press abutton on the amp.
