So I finally got my Panasonic 60ST60...

Sadly, not up to par...I don't live in the UK so maybe there the features are better on your side. Outside of the standard stuff - Facebook, etc. - it's just a load of stuff I would hardly glance at.Don't have Netflix, for example. However, the main attraction is the PQ, and it is magnifacent...

So I finally got my Panasonic 60ST60...

...and all I can say is: Stunning. Absolutely stunning. I was flabbergasted at how good a telly's PQ can be, out-of-the-box - and I haven't tried a blu-ray movie yet. Don't have a 3D movie so haven't tried that yet as well. Smart features are neat and easy to use, though the Internet is a bit...

Need plasma advice: Panasonic or Samsung

Hi, I live outside the UK, and outside the higher-class models (65ST, etc.), these are themodels that fit my budget - roughly 1,500 pounds. Both are 3D, 1080p models. The Panasonic model doesn't include glasses while the Samsung does plus an extra HDMI (3 vs 2 on the Panny). Obviously the...

Need plasma advice: Panasonic or Samsung

Hi all, I'm looking to finally replace my HD ready telly, and I'm having a tough time trying to decide between the Panasonic UT60 and the Samsung 60D550 (I chose these two because they're within my budget). Smart features are less of a concern, and they're more or less the same price. Any...

    Upgrade dilemma

I can't say about the future but for now I would say my budget is about 800-900. I should upgrade the amp first?

    Upgrade dilemma

Thanks, mate. I'll probably get a new sub with the speakers.

    Upgrade dilemma

The plasma is Panasonic 50X10, receive is Pioneer VSX 521, and the speakers are from a company called Dome (I got them when I didn't have the faintest idea about speakers...). Actually replacing the sub is a pretty good idea, if it doesn't conflict with the satellites.

    Upgrade dilemma

Wasn't sure where to post this - video or audio... I was originally planning to upgrade my old 5.1 speaker system, especially since the sub is "on the brink". Then, I began realizing that with the amount I planned to invest in a new speaker set I can replace my 50" HDR set. Although I do not...

Need some help with receive/ speakers set-up

Hi, Well, it looks like a faulty cable is responsible, since the settings seem ok. The cable connecting the sub to the receiver is loose at one end, so perhaps that's the reason. Maybe age as well? it's 6 years old, and it wasn't exactly treated like the magna carta....anyway, I'll get a...

Need some help with receive/ speakers set-up

Thanks - I probably don't speak the language of the manufacturer... :) Anyway, I've no exprience with crossover points - I had no problems with my last receiver - so I guess I need to do some more tweaking with the receiver, since I hadn't touched anything on the sub.

Need some help with receive/ speakers set-up

Thanks! Wel...the good news is, after speaking with a rep, I managed to set it properly and now get sound from all speakers. Pretty good sound, too! BUT...now the sub is acting up - it sounds like an AM radio station! * sigh *

Need some help with receive/ speakers set-up

Well, I tried switching the wires (for the speakers that don't work) - nothing. For some reason, the system seems to recognize only two speakers! I tried getting intot the settings, but it didn't help much. Don't know what to do...
