    GT50 motion blur

Mine went this way after 11 months, and at month 13 JL finally caved in and refunded it, and I went for a Samsung 55F8000 At 2 years old, you are almost certainly going to have to go down the 'repair route' first, which will mean JL appointing a contractor to take the TV away to test it (don't...

    Samsung UE48H6400 vs UE48H6470

I concur Samsung's website only list's the 6400, which almost certainly means that the 6470 is for mainland Europe Also on offer at JL, although currently out of stock (can change overnight though)...

    Samsung, Very Poor Customer Care

I'm guessing you've adjusted this by: <sound> <additional settings> <digital audio out> <audio delay> My F8000 was slightly out of sync when it came out of the box, but I quickly discovered that the audio delay was set to 150ms (odd!)

Here we go again.... GT50 with screen burn...

Update So we have had the TV now for some 14 weeks or so, and do I miss the GT50...? In one word, no! The F8000 continues to impress on every level, and long gone are the days of DSE, blurring fast motion and image retention One of the most impressive features of the Samsung is the Plex app...

Panasonic TXP50GT30 and the Blinking LED of death!

Update: Some good news, some no so good news Panasonic have agreed to cover the cost of the repair! :) Panasonic have said my friend has to cover the £90 he paid out to get the TV collected  He has therefore sent them a scathing email, will let you know what happens!

Panasonic TXP50GT30 and the Blinking LED of death!

I 'think' John Duncan is eluding to something else, and not the 50GT30 in this thread.. (which cost a bit more than £450!)

Panasonic TXP50GT30 and the Blinking LED of death!

Update TV is currenly with the repair company (whom charged £90, yes £90 to pick it up!) My friend is hoping to hear something in the next 48 hours, and is even more hopeful that Panasonic (or is it Panachronic?!) will foot the bill!

Panasonic TXP50GT30 and the Blinking LED of death!

Update: (very very interesting) Regarding the warranty period, please note that the EU Directive does not apply in the UK. In this situation, Panasonic is offering its clients, as stated in my previous e-mail, the Cost Assistance procedure. Previous email: Please note that the standard...

Xbox One - Titanfall Bundle £370!

Clearly, a bad experience from dealing with Zavvi I'm with everyone else on this, always buy items of this nature from a retailer that you can walk back into if there is an issue Having said that, I've never had an issue with any console I've purchased. My original Playstation still works 18...

Panasonic TXP50GT30 and the Blinking LED of death!

Thats what I have told him Oldboy. How can Panasonic seriously expect a £1200 TV to last only 20 months. He's single, and only uses the TV in the evenings, so it probably hasn't even clocked up that many hours! A PDP is 'expected' to last for 100,000 hours, and whilst this isn't guaranteed...
