It says 800watt in the advert and 200W RMS – 400W max power. Aren't PA systems for outdoors and clubs etc? I heard a decent PA system costs much more than hi-fi, looking at 200k and a low budget PA sucks compared to a low budget hi-fi?

I found out the problem. I had put up a piece of mdf on the wall with albums clipped on behind the right speaker (above). Just took it off and it sounds much better. Didn't think that could affect the sound so much. Now there is nothing on the walls behind the speakers. I'm happy again :)

I don't know if it's a placebo but my speakers don't seem to sound as good as they used to or I'm just use to them now. Can someone please just double check if the driver part highlighed in the picutre can be pushed in? Even slightly or are they rock solid with no movement?

What would happen if I stuck a Monolith in this room?

I have black ash speakers but because the BK Monolith is so huge I don't really want it in black, it'd be too much. Anyone agree? I think it looks really nice in oak like a nice table furniture but having a big black box looks a bit invading.

There is no way I can afford the RXW12 and I heard MA subs aren't worth the money. Do I need to be careful when choosing a subwoofer to match these speakers? My budget is £400.
