I used to have a Cyrus 6XP and PMC DB1s and had them biwired and loved them until the Cyrus stopped working. Used BFA plugs on the amp side and some standard banana plugs on speaker end- QED silver anniversary cables i think. Lack of space made me replace it with a CA EVO 150 and Neat iota...

Looking for a small CD player to integrate with a Cambridge Audio Evo150. Previous one was a Cyrus player who stopped working a few years ago- laser stopped reading disks and was old model. Any thoughts peopls?

Loving the turntable but the tonearms counter balance weight is held on by very thin nylon and keeps falling off- getting very fed up with this and looking for solutions that dont look bad.

The Evo 150 is a very good product- just upgraded to it from a Cyrus amp and very impressed and sounds great

1 month update- after a lot of listening to different sources- vinyl, cd, streams and stored media, the Evo surpasses the Cyrus in spades. The remote is a bit basic but the phone app is good and easy to use. Very happy camper with the upgrade- especially as I got the Evo 150 for 1999 new
