I use a RP3, fitted with the ELYS 2. I mostly listen to prog/metal/death metal and I find it a great deck for the money.

Ah right. From my reading, it seems that most people have gone for the Blue cable over the 'shotgun' style. Which would you recommend ? Are there benefits in having the shotgun style over the cable style?
