Cheers guys, for all your input, much appreciated. I agree, it is the forum that's a a pain to attach photo's to... Turning the sub away, would point it into another room, so nothing to bounce off. Sound is better closer, but still playing with the distance from walls ;) No rug yet!

I'm waiting on some fitted blinds for the Velux windows. There's two more on the other roof section (Out of shot). A window dressing will be sort for the window above the telly, too. It's all brand new, so bits being dealt with daily...

I'll give it all a bit of a reshuffle today/ tomorrow, see how it looks... It sounds pretty damn good to me right now, but I know it can be improved, and will get better with some more hours under it's belt, so I can open up the volume, more >)

Yep, it is a 55" :O I agree, though... It does get dwarfed!

Right, well that just about wraps it up, thank yuo, gentlemen... I'll sort myself a NAS and keep the Airport going as a WiFi booster and a back up to the system. ;)

I'll keep the rug in mind, although the couch on it's way (maybe!!!), is a big 'U' shaped item, that should absorb a lot of sound. If there is space, then I'll look at a rug, though it'll probably resemble a doormat! No intention of going for a projector, Simon... It was considered, but the TV...

The extension has just been completed. Speakers will be moving in as much as I can, without overlapping the paintings. Like I said, a WIP... :)

Third time lucky with getting this post to stay visible! Here's a shot of the front of myset up. Pretty much a 'work in progress' at present, as I'm still tweaking position, etc. No shot of the rears as yet. Seems a bit spacey in the room, but I am still awaiting the new couch... I'm waiting...

Made a few posts over the last week from works PC, without issue. Last night I posted in the 'My System' section a small text to accompany a single .jpg (hosted by Flikr)... I previewed it, then saved it. Saw it in the forum list, closed the page, went to bed... This morning, not a hint of it...

That sounds like a reasonable argument. I guess I'll go looking at Synology, etc...

I have it as a time capsule. For wireless back up of the iMac and macBook Pro. So, do I need to buy a dedicated NAS?
