I bought the bdp from a company that specialises in multi region devices. I dont know what processes they use. But i do know that they have a very good reputation. i follow them on ebay and they have over 5000 transactions and 100 percent feedback. i needed multi region, because many of my dvds...

I also thought i should mention that the blu ray player has been modified to accept all region dvd and all region blu rays. not sure if that would cause my problem.
