    Speaker cable

Copper as opposed to Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA), nothing fancy. Cross Sectional Area of 2.5mm for that length and enjoy your music. Van Damme Blue or Van Damme Hifi Cable (whichever is cheapest) are good cables and won't break the bank. They will also sound the same as any other equivalent...

LG C4 55" OLED is £980 on Amazon with a free LG soundbar

Quite a few issues reported with the G4 in the last few months. Be worth checking out other audio visual forums for user feedback. Doesn't affect every set but worth noting before pulling the trigger and certainly to be able to check with the place you are purchasing from as to what their...

LG C4 55" OLED is £980 on Amazon with a free LG soundbar

Only Sony offer QD-OLED out of the above three. Panasonic and Philips are W-OLED like the LG. The newer RGB 4 layer OLED's could have a wider colour gamut than the 'standard' W-OLED's.

LG C4 55" OLED is £980 on Amazon with a free LG soundbar

Always need a check that there is a good warranty. I wouldn't buy any TV, regardless of cost, without a good and lengthy warranty behind it. Don't make 'em like they used to! 🙂

    Canton DM55 remote control problem

It's an old thread you're replying to @Unsworth. With regard to your issue, £180 is over half the original cost of the Canton. Maybe the money would be better put towards a new soundbar/soundbase? 🙂

If the deal wasn't good, why did you make the purchase?! 🙂

svs pb 2000 pro vs 2x sb 1000 pro

Two SB-1000 Pro will not give you the same 'deep oomph' as the PB-2000 Pro. The ported box has a big advantage low down due to the larger cabinet volume. The sealed boxes may drop lower (once a ported sub receives a signal below it's port tune it drops off fairly quickly), but it's likely any...

svs pb 2000 pro vs 2x sb 1000 pro

You could try the crossover at 90hz and but that might give away the position of the sub rather than blending in. Adding a second sub will give you a little more volume but not more depth. Maybe your room is more suited to a single sub? Not sure what else to suggest, requires someone with...

Might not like the or perhaps doesn't need one due to alternative sound arrangements?! 🙂

svs pb 2000 pro vs 2x sb 1000 pro

You have the LFE crossover set to 120hz and the speaker crossovers at 80hz?

svs pb 2000 pro vs 2x sb 1000 pro

Hmm, I would have thought careful manipulation of the frequencies and gain around 80hz would have helped. Bother. Hmm, tough one to sort it seems.

svs pb 2000 pro vs 2x sb 1000 pro

Can you use the Parametric EQ on the SVS app to raise the frequency where you have a null?

svs pb 2000 pro vs 2x sb 1000 pro

Obviously those are predicted responses, but you'll need to move the second sub around a bit to balance out the nulls and peaks in the room so wherever you're sat (within reason) the bass response is consistent.

svs pb 2000 pro vs 2x sb 1000 pro

So when you add a second sub, what does the frequency response look like?
