Thanks for the relpies, still not sure though as there are conflicting answers. The audio company I bought the package from emailed back and said I should set the amplifier to 6 ohms. As suggested though, I've sent an email to Wharfedale to see what their take on it is. Cheers

Listen to a lot of blues, all types of rock music and a bit of heavy metal thrown in for good measure. Don't really want to spend more than about £200 on speakers. Cheers for the reply.
