Hardly surprising that an Analogue Productions LP is going to sound incredible, but I bought 'A Love Supreme' recently, and it's possibily the best thing I have ever heard. Coltrane is right there in front of me. It's cliche to say, but it's true.

Had the blue for a while now, and I must say the difference is significant. So much more room and clarity for each instrument and the tracking is very good. Overall, very impressed and pleased with the upgrade.

My friend has one, I like going over to his house to admire it haha.

Ah yeah, Alan Parsons is a given I suppose, I have the original presses of his albums and they are all stunningly good. Thank you for your replies, but these are still quite maintsteam, how about something a little more obscure? :-)

I really like the RP series by Rega, but then I am biased as I love most of their products anyway, especially their amplifiers. What TT are you saving for Chris?

Which is why I've decided to go for the Blue instead of the Bronze. If I was seriously considering the Bronze, I would just got for a new TT altogether, maybe a Rega RP3.

Of course, I will let you know. I heard the difference is rather significant. I was considering the Bronze, but I think if I were to get that, I would rather get a new TT all together :-)

The guys at the store I demoed at said the Elex is far more powerful than it is officially rated, the same goes for most of Naim and Rega apparently.. not too sure if that is true but wouldn't be surprised.

Interesting, though 100 pounds for a mains cable is steep.. I can understand spending that cash on speaker cables but is the mains cable with the amp all that bad to begin with? I will keep it in mind. As for my ears mellowing, I think I need to still be a bit careful brightness wise as I am...
