The A90D is a head-amp only, no DAC. Strange how our ears differ as I much prefer the Marantz DAC to the one in my Wiim Ultra.

Maybe look at Topping for a straight headphone amp only. I've got the A90D, however, it doesn't sound significantly better than the jack out on my CDP. If you've got the Marantz SA8005 try the hp jack on that first before spending money on a headamp, it's got a fine DAC in it.

Had Gigaclear, Virgin, and BT digging up the pavements three times in as many years to lay fibre. Giga and BT both managed to sever the line to my house. I'm currently getting 70mbps down my copper cable with NOWbroadband, including landline. Can't see the point of fibre for my needs yet.

I just wait for the neighbours to go out then blast it out :)
